[ NNSquad ] ATT still giving the the short end to anyone using a non ATT product or service!

So Last December many of the people who meet to converse on a free
conference line received the attached letter telling them that they were
going to be disconnected from ATT or charged for data for every minute over
750 a month spent calling or receiving calls from a conference line or call
forwarding service ( grasshopper comes to mind). Unlimited does not mean unlimited after all!!

For those who used a service to forward calls to them at work ( in this case
truckers who own their own businesses but drive their own trucks) and who
visited with others via a conference call line used like a chat room to meet
up in, the message was clear. YOU are not wanted.

In typical arrogance though ATT "executive conferencing" was the tool used
by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration to hold a listening
session involving those same truckers so that we could make input to a
listening session required by law before they could change the "Hours of
Service" regulations we work under.

In short because people were using a non ATT service they were violating
terms of service, but for a fee.......

Hmmm so what has changed since they broke up Ma Bell?
