This reminds me of a side-problem with the so-called "supercookies":
some websites have (gasp!) bugs. They lose track of session
information, or store incorrect information in their database, which is
then linked with the session. This can result in incorrect displays,
mis-formatted displays, or simple inability to log in or to get the
information you need.
When that happens, the usual solution is to delete the cookies for that
website. But if the site is using undeletable cookies, they may end up
locking users out for no reason except the developers' inability to
write correct code.
