Verizon just sent word to their resellers that they are cancelling
reseller contracts.

Resellers can charge what they choose, and also, more importantly, provide
service when there is a problem.

Verizon cites lack of interest in an area for this according to the
reseller contracts.

Less competition for where you can purchase connectivity is the result
even though it is the same provider.
