I might add that as designed-in hardware constraints, the G1's 3G mode
will only operate on T-Mobile 3G frequencies, and the iPhone's 3G mode
will not function on the T-Mobile 3G frequencies, meaning that both
phones' high-speed data connections are effectively locked to single
carriers domestically.
