2013 Nexus 7 images finally released after controversy Last Wednesday I noted the controversy over the release of 2013 Nexus 7 factory images and related materials, reportedly related to a dispute with Qualcomm, leading Googler Jean-Baptiste Queru to resign his post maintaining the Android Open Source Project's distributions. Now comes word that the images and materials have finally been released: http://j.mp/19V0IVY (ars technica) Here's hoping that Jean-Baptiste, if he feels it appropriate, returns to his great stewardship of the AOSP releases. --Lauren-- Lauren Weinstein (lauren@vortex.com): http://www.vortex.com/lauren Co-Founder: People For Internet Responsibility: http://www.pfir.org/pfir-info Founder: - Network Neutrality Squad: http://www.nnsquad.org - PRIVACY Forum: http://www.vortex.com/privacy-info Member: ACM Committee on Computers and Public Policy Lauren's Blog: http://lauren.vortex.com Google+: http://google.com/+LaurenWeinstein Twitter: http://twitter.com/laurenweinstein Tel: +1 (818) 225-2800 / Skype: vortex.com _______________________________________________ nnsquad mailing list http://lists.nnsquad.org/mailman/listinfo/nnsquad
