   "The Justice Department and AT&T agreed Monday to put on hold the
    antitrust lawsuit over the phone company's proposed $39 billion
    purchase of T-Mobile USA, setting a mid-January date by which AT&T
    must outline whether it intends to continue to pursue the deal."
