    "The European Commission is set to propose investing almost 9.2bn euros
     (8bn pounds) in a massive rollout of super-fast broadband
     infrastructure and services across the European Union."

In other "news," the U.S. House of Representatives passes a resolution
demanding that all U.S. ISPs return all users to dial-up speeds, so
that the "left-wing oriented Internet" will be less effective at
undermining Wall Street campaign contributers.
