[ NNSquad ] (GOOG + MMI) == (GTV + STB) ?

(GOOG + MMI) == (GTV + STB) ?

One other quick note regarding the Google acquisition of
Motorola Mobility (MMI).

While most of the focus has understandably been on Android in the
focus of smartphones, we should remember that Android also powers
Google TV (GTV).

And, though it may seem counterintuitive simply from the naming, MMI
includes Motorola's cable TV set top box (STB) division, which is
number one in the U.S. (number two is Cisco).

Modern STBs are rather complex computing devices, light years advanced
from the relatively limited capabilities of even the fairly recent past.

Anyone claiming that Google overpaid for MMI needs to carefully
consider *all* of the relevant factors!
