I can confirm attempts against my dumb LG (install apps and register)
on Verizon. I just assumed it was the normal type of stuff that one
sees at defcon (been going since DC7). Even though I'm fairly
confident that the attempts were unsuccessful I had my phone admin do
a clean wipe and restored contacts from a backup. This does not
confirm anything against 4G.
