One focusing more on financial aspects the other on technological
aspects.

Kinda like feeling the elephant, depends on which part you're touching
on.

   [ It has also been pointed out by an alert reader that the IT World
     story appears to be factually in error in at least one key
     respect.  In fact, the result of the deal would be to speed up
     the LightSquared terrestrial network's implementation -- assuming
     the GPS issues could be solved, which of course is rather
     problematic.  Irony: the FOX story turned out to be the 
     more accurate of the two!
