Here is a counter point to that paper. http://www.hightechforum.org/dns-filtering-is-essential-to-the-internet/ All Vixie and the other engineers are asserting is that DNS filtering breaks DNSSEC sites that are filtered. They do not claim that non-filtered sites are broken or that DNSSEC in the general case is broken. But what's the purpose of DNS filtering? Isn't it to break filtered sites completely, and not just the DNSSEC aspect of those sites? George [ For those unfamiliar with it, the "HIGHTECHForum" is a joint effort of Richard and "the MITA Group" who assert that [from their About page]: "Some of the most critical technology and telecommunications policy debates take place without the input of those most knowledgeable about the issues, and most affected by the outcomes" -- a state of affairs that they apparently feel obligated and competent to remedy.
