Deutsche Telekom thinking of merging T-Mobile USA with Sprint?

I would note that merger rumors of this sort seem to be present
continually.  An obvious issue with a T-Mobile/Sprint is the
incompatible systems and evolution paths that are now in place for
both companies, though these are likely to *eventually* converge.
