Google to introduce "skippable" YouTube pre-roll ads

My own "user experience" parallels that discussed
by Google at: http://bit.ly/aNs2KA .

My tolerance for pre-roll ads varies inversely with the length
of the ad, with the likelihood of my aborting a play sequence
much higher for pre-rolls exceeding 15 seconds or thereabouts.

So skippable pre-rolls would seem to have a great deal of merit
in the free video ecosystem.

The implementation details will be very important, of course.
