It's good that the court found the DMCA means what it says. Too bad the court won't apply Rule 11 sanctions for bringing a meritless lawsuit. We are all fortunate that YouTube/Google had the deep pockets needed to defend itself. A smaller, startup company would have had to fold simply because they couldn't afford the cost of writing all those briefs, doing legal research, etc.
