[ NNSquad ] Google introduces command line access to Google APIs/services
Google introduces command line access to Google APIs/services Google has recently introduced a Python-based application for access to Google services via the Python gdata libraries infrastructure. I'm running it under Ubuntu, but ports for Mac and Windows systems are already available. Currently supported services include various levels of access to Blogger, Calendar, Contacts, Docs, Picasa, and YouTube. More to follow based on API availability issues. This is in a relatively early dev stage, so functionality is limited to some degrees and is changing rather rapidly, but obviously holds enormous potential for extremely straightforward and powerful integration into local programs and services, even via simple shell files or perl scripts.
