I've been complaining about all the implicit central dependencies. Imagine
medical practices that are all SaaS and suddenly you have an emergency and
you're disconnected. We need stresses to test the system and avoid
complacency. We also need protocols that can work even if you're
disconnected from "Internet Central" and it's DNS. Encryption is also
important to deploy in situations where you don't trust all around you nor
the paths they control.
