[ NNSquad ] NYTimes Magazine: "Data Center Overload" 

Good article.  Recommended.  When I think about data centers, I
can't help but be reminded of the gigantic "Humanoid Central"
(located on planet Wing IV, and connected throughout the galaxy via
"rhodomagnetic" beams) described by Jack Williamson in his
"Humanoid" science-fiction works.  Ray Bradbury wrote of "a sound
like thunder."  Nowadays it would be the "thunder of a million 
power supply fans."  The instrumentality of The Cloud ...
