Sports trade group opposes Google "white space" airwaves plan

My own view is that development and carefully controlled testing of
this technology should proceed.  If there is unacceptable
interference that can't be fixed, then we've still learned something
useful.  Failures teach at least as much as successes, and after
all, it might well succeed.

What wouldn't make sense is cutting off this line of research before
the operational characteristics are really understood, based mainly
on the "fear factor" effect.
