Rahul Just want to clarify a point. Transmission bits *can not* be stored and re-used later. They must be consumed or lost and, unlike electricity or water they are not homogeneous, you've got to deliver the appropriate collection of bits (packets) to the appropriate location. This changes the underlying mathematics significantly - unfortunately this hasn't stopped people thinking that data flow is like water. In my opinion the underlying constraints are badly articulated throughout the industry - and this, combined with market pressures to raise return on investment, causes a lot of the inappropriate, anti-neutral, behaviour.
