This presentation was made earlier today at NANOG.

They are proposing optimizations in P2P communication so that data
transfer stays local within ISPs. This reduces backbone traffic but not
last mile traffic. Also, the simulations were done with swarms
containing over 500 peers, so the results for long-tail swarms may be
quite different.
